What's new in 2.0b?

- Unlock/downgrade strategy rework: Now safer than ever!
- New Interface on the iPhone (using iPipe from MCA)
- Fix for the "Repair Needed" problem reported by some users
- iPlus will always reboot twice (and not 2 or 3 times)
- Pass 2 visual feedback. Now users know what is going on
- PC/Mac program will not end until everything is really done
- Support for PPC
- Better error handling
- Empty payloads - just jailbreak
- No need to install libreadline on MacOS X

Tip of the Day: Breaking Out Of The Loop

Stuck at the iPlus screen at need to start over? Use iPlus to enter Recover or DFU mode.

Just launch a terminal window in Mac or Windows and issue these commands:

On Windows
ipdo -R (for recovery)
ipdo -D (for DFU)

On a Mac, put a "./" before the command
./ipdo -R (for recovery)
./ipdo -D (for DFU)

Need Jailbreak/Activate Only? Check Out iLiberty!

Need SAFE Jailbreak/Activate only and don't want to wait for iPlus 2.1? George Zhu has a brand new Windows GUI tool for the iPhone. This initial version does not unlock, but it will do Jailbreak or Activate only, for those people who like to keep-it-simple. ZERO chance of ending up with a downgraded bootloader by accident (as with some other programs).

The most important change is that now I know how to prevent the "Reair Needed" problem that has been report by some users. Once again with the help of some folks from the Dev Team I was able to figure out where the problem is and devise a way to fix it.

Also the following features are planned:

- PPC support
- Better payload integration
- Second pass completion infomation. No need to wait without feedback
- Minor enhancements
- Simple GUI - provided by Zuegg
